CLIC Showcases GHUCCTS KL2's Grant Writing Program

GHUCCTS' KL2 grant writing program is one of six CTSA's to be featured this month in the Center for Leading Innovation and Collaboration's (CLIC) Insights to Inspire.

Insights to Inspire 2022: In Our Own Words is a collection of Program Summaries from across the consortium for the Careers in Clinical & Translational Research (CCTR) metric. From 36 unique hubs come insights into how hubs are working to improve the experiences of their KL2 scholars and TL1 trainees.

Starting in December 2021 and extending through April 2022, In Our Own Words will feature one of the categories from the CCTR Common Metrics –Team Science, Mentorship, Grant Writing, Grant Success, Publications, and a host of other topics ranging from recruitment to the effects of COVID-19 on junior faculty.

Request for Applications: 2024-2025 TL1 Translational Biomedical Science Program

The GHUCCTS TL1 Translational Biomedical Science (TBS) Program is now accepting applications for our 2024-2025 funding cycle. Applicants should be predoctoral students who have completed their qualifying exams in PhD programs at Howard or Georgetown Universities or Postdoctoral fellows who have a primary appointment at Georgetown or Howard Universities, a MedStar Institution, or the Washington DC VAMC.

GHUCCTS is pleased to announce the launch of our 2024-2025 GHUCCTS Pilot Awards application cycle. Applicants must have a full-time faculty appointment at one of the GHUCCTS institutions (Howard, Georgetown, DCVA, Medstar, ORNL). Each application should identify a Contact PI who will be responsible for coordinating and submitting the application. Applications are due Monday, March 19, 2024.
